International Engagement

In November 2023, Dr. Kudzai Masunda, Secretary General of ZCPHP, represented the College at the Conference on Public Health in Africa (CPHIA) held in Lusaka, Zambia. The conference provided a critical platform for networking, sharing knowledge, and aligning with continental public health priorities.Dr. Masunda participated in key sessions and poster presentations across nine thematic tracks, engaging with global public health leaders and exhibitors. Key insights from the conference emphasized the urgency to accelerate progress toward Universal Health Coverage, unlock Africa CDC-driven funding, and address gaps in cholera elimination and neglected tropical diseases. His participation ensures ZCPHP remains at the forefront of Africa’s public health agenda and strengthens its collaboration with regional and global health partners
